Lavishing in Lilac

Purple is my favorite color so when I saw this lilac blouse back in May, I knew I had to get it for myself, as an early “birthday gift”. I work hard so in my mind I deserved to treat myself to a cute outfit. I wore this top while out of town visiting my cousin for a birthday trip in L.A. This sheer ruffle top is from a new E-boutique I’ve recently discovered that has quickly become one of my faves. The high neckline and sleeve applique add a posh flair, while the pom-pom style 3/4 sleeves keep the arms flirty.

While on a bachelorette trip in L.A. last year I got this matching shoe/hand bag combo set from Aldo, that I absolutely had to have. I can’t resist a good matching set! The cool thing that I love about this purse is that it came with an alternate strap to instantly adapt into a fanny pack! …Yea I know they have Aldo locations throughout the U.S., so I probaly should have just waited until I got back home to purchase the set. However, I actually met one of the associates who helped pick the fabric. He gave me a little inside tea that the set wasn’t sold at every location, and that the purse would be in limited supply. So there was no way I was leaving without that set.
